Job Requirements
- valid healthcare license RN, LPN, PT, OTR-L, DPM or similar preferred but could be certified in the first year of hire
- exemplary customer service skills
- business savvy, sales-minded
- self-starter and able to work independently
- hard-working and motivated
- organized and detail-oriented
- must live in designated area and willing to travel daily
Job Qualifications
- valid healthcare license such as RN, LPN, PT, OTR-L, DPM or similar
- customer service skills
- knowledge of Medicare documentation and reimbursement guidelines
- ability to educate facility staff
- proficiency in product ordering systems
- experience in wound care preferred
- strong organizational skills
Job Duties
- working with long-term care facilities in a designated territory to assist with wound assessments and treatment decisions
- monitoring proper application and utilization of wound care products
- understanding Medicare documentation and reimbursement guidelines
- educating facility staff on documentation that meets federal and state requirements
- ordering wound care products through internal system FastCare for residents
- supporting facilities wound care programs by assisting with tracking, documentation, and understanding of wound care products coverage guidelines
