Job Requirements

  • Pharmacy technician certificate from accredited tech training program
  • one month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
  • ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • effective oral and pleasant communication skills
  • mathematical ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units
  • common sense understanding for carry out instructions
  • strong attention to detail
  • possession of Pharmacy Technician Certificate
  • possession of Pharmacy Technician License
  • valid driver’s license or state ID
  • ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform physical tasks
  • ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds
  • capability to use pharmacy equipment safely
  • willingness to follow safety protocols and report accidents promptly
  • ability to work in environments with exposure to chemicals, temperature extremes and moderate noise
  • readiness to maintain licensure and certifications

Job Qualifications

  • Pharmacy technician certificate from accredited training program
  • one month related experience or equivalent education and experience

  • proficiency in basic mathematical operations
  • strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • possession of Pharmacy Technician Certificate and License

  • completion of company-provided training including pharmacy skills, safety, privacy, and service training

Job Duties

  • Reporting for assigned shifts on time and ready to perform duties
  • promoting sales through active guest engagement during prescription processing
  • providing exceptional customer service and informing guests about pharmacy services
  • verifying prescription data and researching refill information
  • mixing and preparing pharmaceutical products according to prescriptions
  • maintaining inventory records and participating in inventory management
  • processing medication records and performing cash transactions
  • cleaning and sterilizing equipment
  • operating pharmacy department equipment safely and correctly
  • communicating guest requests accurately for special orders
  • mentoring new associates
  • ensuring compliance with local, state, federal, and company regulations
  • participating in safety and accident reduction programs
