Job Requirements
- CNA license certification prior to hiring
- Current CPR and fingerprint clearance card
- Minimum six months CNA/LNA experience preferred
- Recent Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing Facility or Transitional Rehab experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedule
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Ability to follow supervision and direction from registered nurse
Job Qualifications
- CNA license certification prior to hiring
- Current CPR certification
- Current fingerprint clearance card
- Minimum of six months CNA/LNA experience preferred
- Recent experience in Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing Facility, or Transitional Rehab preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow care plans accurately and work collaboratively with nursing staff
Job Duties
- Assist guests/patients during admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Check each guest/patient routinely to ensure that personal care needs are met in accordance with their wishes and care plan
- Review care plans daily to determine if changes have been made to the patient's daily care routine
- Perform assigned personal care functions under the direction of an RN
- Provide compassionate and attentive support to enhance patient comfort and well-being
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to report changes in patient condition
- Maintain patient dignity and privacy throughout all care activities
