Job Requirements
- Active Florida CNA license or Certified Home Health Aide certificate from an approved Florida school
- Valid driver’s license and car insurance
- Social Security card
- Up-to-date CPR card
- A health statement issued within the last six months confirming freedom from communicable diseases
- Completion of CEUs including 2 hours Alzheimer’s, 1 hour HIV/AIDS, and 2 hours Assistance with Self Administered Medications
- Completion of Level 2 background screening required by Florida law
Job Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA license or Certified Home Health Aide certificate from an approved Florida school
- Valid driver’s license and car insurance
- Up-to-date CPR certification
- Completion of CEUs including Alzheimer’s care, HIV/AIDS, and medication assistance
- Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Provide compassionate personal care to clients in their homes
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer or assist with self-administered medications following care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the agency support team
- Follow all agency policies and procedures including safety and infection control
- Participate in required training and continuing education
