Job Requirements
- completed Nurse Aide course or nursing student with relevant clinical experience
- current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ability to observe and report patient conditions accurately
- commitment to patient-centered care
- effective communication skills
- ability to work under supervision in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- completed Nurse Aide course and holds Nurse Aide Certification or PCA or PCT certification
- current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association
- nursing student with at least one quarter of nursing curriculum completed or one year of recent hospital Nurse Aide experience
Job Duties
- provide basic patient care under the supervision of a nurse
- observe patients and record vital signs
- perform EKGs
- report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff
- orient to all areas of the Emergency Center
- assist in maintaining patient safety and comfort
- support the nursing team with assigned tasks
