Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a caregiver in a licensed community or facility
  • C.N.A. license in states where required
  • Current Medication Technician or Aide Certification in states where required
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
  • Intermediate computer and mobile device skills
  • Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude
  • Consistent and reliable attendance

Job Duties

  • Administer medications and provide personal care following physician's orders and community guidelines
  • Maintain accurate medical records and report any reactions or medication refusals to the licensed nurse
  • Take resident vital signs and observe any responses or side effects
  • Attend shift meetings and update nursing staff on resident conditions
  • Work collaboratively with a team to ensure the highest quality care and services resulting in overall customer satisfaction
  • Adhere to all resident rights, state, and federal regulations including infection control, fire safety, and hazardous materials guidelines
