Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 3 years of experience as a medical assistant
  • medical assistant certification preferred
  • strong communication skills

Job Duties

  • Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and medication lists
  • prepare patients for examination
  • manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation in the EMR system
  • coordinate scheduling and follow-up appointments to optimize patient care
  • respond to patient inquiries promptly and professionally
  • administer medications, injections, and other treatments as directed by the provider
  • conduct basic laboratory tests and perform blood draws
  • administer EKG's and PFT's
  • partner with providers and other staff to create seamless patient experiences
  • contribute to care team discussions to enhance patient outcomes
  • maintain a patient-centered mindset while upholding clinic standards of care
