Job Requirements

- at least 3 years of experience as a medical assistant
- medical assistant certification preferred

Job Duties
- Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and medication lists
- prepare patients for examination
- manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation in the EMR system
- coordinate scheduling and follow-up appointments to optimize patient care
- respond to patient inquiries promptly and professionally
- administer medications, injections, and other treatments as directed by the provider
- conduct basic laboratory tests and perform blood draws
- administer EKG's and PFT's
- partner with providers and other staff to create seamless patient experiences
- contribute to care team discussions to enhance patient outcomes
- maintain a patient-centered mindset while upholding clinic standards of care
