Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of accredited course in dietetic training approved by the American Dietetic Association
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certificate
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in kitchen, supervisory position, preferably in a hospital, nursing or other related medical facility
- Proven experience managing a budget and controlling food costs
- Ability to lead by example and treat everyone at work kindly and professionally

Job Duties
- Plan, develop, organize, evaluate and direct the Food Services Department reputation, programs and activities
- Hire, train and supervise staff in a kind, collaborative manner in accordance with company culture
- Partner with Dietician to ensure residents’ diets and nutritional needs are met
- Coordinate food services and activities with other related departments as needed
- Ensure that menus are maintained and filed in accordance with established policies
- Monitor staff to confirm they adhere to all sanitation, safety and procedural guidelines within the department
- Participate in facility’s surveys and inspections, developing a plan of correction if/when deficiencies are noted
