Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to walk or stand for the entire work shift
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
  • Ability to lift 1 to 5 lbs with occasional lifting up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs
  • Fine motor coordination and depth perception
  • Ability to hear equipment from a distance
  • Willingness to wear gloves for prolonged periods due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year experience in customer or patient facing role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Basic computer proficiency

Job Duties

  • Answer phones and greet visitors including new and repeat donors promptly exhibiting customer service skills
  • Assist donors with appointments and create or pull donor record files
  • Provide customer service to donors and fellow employees
  • Maintain orderly filing system and purge records
  • Report operational opportunities for continuous improvement to management
  • Initiate changes to center processes through approved procedures
