Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four years of experience leading in a healthcare environment, or a combination of both
  • Four years of preferred experience leading in healthcare
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to maintain a visible presence during high patient volume periods
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in healthcare management systems including EMR
  • Commitment to uphold healthcare regulations and safety standards.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent healthcare leadership experience
  • Proven leadership experience in a healthcare environment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in staff development and performance evaluation
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory compliance
  • Financial management skills including budget participation
  • Ability to collaborate with various departments and external partners
  • Marketing and community outreach experience
  • Problem-solving and process improvement skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Job Duties

  • Ensures staffing levels are appropriate
  • Monitors overtime and ensures staffing schedules are completed and distributed timely
  • Works with Human Resources to validate licensure and certifications of clinical staff members
  • Selects and hires employees according to established guidelines
  • Monitors, coaches, develops and evaluates staff performance in accordance with performance standards
  • Builds strong positive communication with providers, clinical, and support staff to facilitate a team environment
  • Develops strong interdepartmental teamwork and drives decision-making to meet patient and site needs
  • Identifies and implements opportunities to build employee morale and motivation
  • Collaborates with Human Resources to ensure personnel policy development and communication
  • Ensures appropriate supply inventory and usage, develops par levels per clinic needs
  • Works to reduce medical and office supply costs through efficiency and innovation
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulatory requirements including training and compliance
  • Maintains cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of the working environment
  • Completes checklists and logs timely with deficiency resolution
  • Responsible for all aspects of facility appearance and maintenance
  • Resolves facility-related issues ensuring safety and upkeep
  • Ensures all signage such as licenses, hours of operation, advertisements, and marketing are in place
  • Works with IT staff to ensure proper system functionality
  • Ensures functional phones with updated messages
  • Addresses and resolves EMR concerns promptly
  • Implements marketing and business development plans
  • Acts as local marketing and community outreach coordinator
  • Reviews online content for accuracy
  • Responsible for profit and loss performance
  • Participates in budget creation
  • Plans, evaluates, recommends, and implements new initiatives
  • Identifies opportunities to expand revenue and reduce expenses
  • Monitors performance and develops improvement plans
  • Ensures customer and patient service needs are met
  • Monitors patient satisfaction and resolves complaints
  • Supports and represents the health system mission, vision, and values
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with leaders, vendors, employees, managers, and providers
  • Performs other responsibilities as assigned by management.
