Job Requirements
- A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
- One year of related work experience
- Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints must hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
- One year of related work experience required
- Experience supporting and empowering youth through professional services preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Strong public relations skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to interview and organize information
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated leadership and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
Job Duties
- Assist in the logistical organization and planning of continuing education events programs
- Facilitate the hiring process for continuing education events leadership and counselor staff
- Interview and process applications for the hiring of seasonal employees
- Supervise student employees within assigned functional areas
- Develop and implement training for continuing education events office employees
- Participate in the evaluation of processes and make recommendations for improvements
- Support other program assistants with general duties as assigned
