Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Two to four years of related experience in retail, hospitality or food environments
  • Detail oriented with excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead well-performing teams
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment
  • Able to coach and counsel employees and take appropriate measures
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday and travel as required
  • Ability to work in cold environments such as refrigerated and freezer sections
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel
  • Commitment to food safety and sanitation practices

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in client-side branded consumer-packaged goods or combined supplier/client-side experience
  • NEHA professional food handler certification
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong supervisory and team development skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • Track record of building and maintaining customer/client relationships

Job Duties

  • Recruit, hire and supervise in-store product demonstrators
  • Oversee product preparation and presentation including food safety and sanitation
  • Train product demonstrators on demonstration preparation and customer service excellence
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse managers, vendors and product demonstrators
  • Participate in new location grand openings as required
  • Direct activities to ensure successful product promotion and sales events
  • Collaborate with district manager to evaluate event performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
