Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Two to four years of related experience in retail, hospitality or food environments
- Detail oriented with excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead well-performing teams
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
- Able to coach and counsel employees and take appropriate measures
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday and travel as required
- Ability to work in cold environments such as refrigerated and freezer sections
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel
- Commitment to food safety and sanitation practices
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in client-side branded consumer-packaged goods or combined supplier/client-side experience
- NEHA professional food handler certification
- Proven leadership abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong supervisory and team development skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook
- Track record of building and maintaining customer/client relationships
Job Duties
- Recruit, hire and supervise in-store product demonstrators
- Oversee product preparation and presentation including food safety and sanitation
- Train product demonstrators on demonstration preparation and customer service excellence
- Communicate effectively with warehouse managers, vendors and product demonstrators
- Participate in new location grand openings as required
- Direct activities to ensure successful product promotion and sales events
- Collaborate with district manager to evaluate event performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
