Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Two to four years of related experience in retail, hospitality, or food environments
- Detail oriented with excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead well performing teams
- Ability to exercise independent judgement
- Able to coach and counsel employees and take corrective measures as needed
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Willingness to work in refrigerated and freezer conditions
- Ability to travel and drive
- Commitment to proper safety practices when handling products and cooking
Job Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in client-side branded consumer-packaged goods or supplier-side and client-side combination
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Flexible and adaptable to changing projects and business environment
- Skilled in delegating responsibility, training and evaluating performance
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and web browsers
- NEHA Professional Food Handler Certification
Job Duties
- Recruit, train and hire part-time staff
- Oversee product preparation and presentation including food safety and sanitation
- Train Product Demonstrators in demonstration preparation and customer service excellence
- Communicate effectively between warehouse managers, vendors and Product Demonstrators
- Participate in new location grand openings as required
- Direct all activities related to successful events, promotion and sales of vendor products
- Collaborate with District Manager to evaluate event performance metrics and adjust strategies
- Achieve revenue and net income objectives through sales activation and expense management
- Optimize customer satisfaction and loyalty through improved operations
