Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • two to four years of related experience in retail, hospitality or food environments
  • detail oriented with excellent leadership and communication skills
  • proven ability to lead well performing teams
  • ability to exercise independent judgement
  • able to coach and counsel employees and take corrective measures as needed
  • flexibility and ability to work in a fast paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in client-side branded consumer-packaged goods or supplier-side experience
  • ability to work independently and prioritize with minimal supervision
  • supervising skills including delegating, training and evaluating performance
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • flexibility and adaptability to business changes
  • track record of building and maintaining customer relationships
  • ability to lead and develop people
  • basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • NEHA professional food handler certification

Job Duties

  • Recruit, train and hire part-time staff
  • oversee product preparation and presentation including food safety and sanitation
  • train product demonstrators in demonstration preparation and customer service
  • communicate between warehouse managers, vendors and demonstrators
  • participate in new location grand openings
  • direct activities for successful events, promotions and sales of vendor products
  • collaborate with district manager to evaluate event performance metrics and adjust strategies
