Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- two to four years of related experience in retail, hospitality or food environments
- detail oriented with excellent leadership and communication skills
- proven ability to lead well performing teams
- ability to exercise independent judgement
- able to coach and counsel employees and take corrective measures as needed
- flexibility and ability to work in a fast paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in client-side branded consumer-packaged goods or supplier-side experience
- ability to work independently and prioritize with minimal supervision
- supervising skills including delegating, training and evaluating performance
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- flexibility and adaptability to business changes
- track record of building and maintaining customer relationships
- ability to lead and develop people
- basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- NEHA professional food handler certification
Job Duties
- Recruit, train and hire part-time staff
- oversee product preparation and presentation including food safety and sanitation
- train product demonstrators in demonstration preparation and customer service
- communicate between warehouse managers, vendors and demonstrators
- participate in new location grand openings
- direct activities for successful events, promotions and sales of vendor products
- collaborate with district manager to evaluate event performance metrics and adjust strategies
