Job Requirements
- valid commercial driver’s license
- minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience
- ability to operate heavy trucks safely
- pass required medical and drug tests
- capable of performing physical activities related to loading and unloading freight
- reliable and punctual
- able to maintain accurate delivery records
Job Qualifications
- valid commercial driver’s license with applicable endorsements
- minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience
- strong knowledge of local routes in Jacksonville and surrounding areas
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to pass DOT medical examination and drug screening
- familiarity with trucking safety standards and regulations
- experience with drayage or port trucking preferred
Job Duties
- operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently
- follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
- perform vehicle inspections before and after trips
- communicate with dispatch and logistics team regarding delivery status
- load and unload freight as needed
- maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
- adhere to scheduled routes and timelines
