Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year route delivery experience or applicable background
- Valid CDL Class B, Class A preferred
- Ability to understand and communicate in English
- Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform manual labor
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Willingness to work early morning shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- One to two years of route delivery experience preferred
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B required, Class A preferred
- Ability to read and understand English
- Previous experience driving straight trucks or similar vehicles
- Customer service and communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds
Job Duties
- Run daily local delivery routes with frequent stops
- Load packages onto hand trucks and unload product at customer sites
- Follow designated route order as assigned by Transportation Department Manager
- Use cross-dock picking model to load trucks from nightly deliveries
- Return empty trucks to assigned lot at end of routes
- Assist with loading trucks and palletizing product as needed
- Verify delivery items with customers and obtain signatures
- Report discrepancies and communicate returns or errors to management
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT regulations
- Maintain safety and operational compliance throughout routes
