Job Requirements
- Valid Texas Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License
- Safe driving record for past five years
- Valid Medical Card or ability to obtain one
- Ability to work scheduled shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to operate front load trucks safely and efficiently
- Ability to comply with DOT regulations and company policies
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to use onboard electronic technology
Job Qualifications
- One year of related medium or heavy truck driving experience or specialized training
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient use of electronic technology within eight weeks of hire
- Ability to understand and execute work orders communicated electronically
- Proficient reading, writing, and speaking English
- Valid Texas Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License preferred
Job Duties
- Report to work at designated time in company uniform and with required personal protective equipment
- Perform pre-trip inspection to ensure vehicle is safe and fueled
- Receive and follow daily route using paper or electronic formats
- Operate truck and equipment responsibly to minimize wear and damage
- Complete end of shift duties including dumping last load, cleaning equipment and cab, fueling, and post-trip inspection
- Work and drive productively and safely while maintaining respectful, courteous, and professional behavior
- Track personal DOT compliance including hours of service and report issues to dispatch
- Report moving violations or accidents to supervisor within required timeframes
- Attend monthly mandatory safety meetings
- Maintain valid Medical Card and Commercial Driver’s License
- Perform other duties as assigned
