Job Requirements
- Minimum 12 months of relevant driving experience in construction
- Commitment to jobsite safety
- Thorough knowledge and skills to operate trucks including end dump, belly dump, tandem, flow boy, or super dump
- Experience with off-highway construction site driving
- Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
- Compliance with TXDOT physical requirements
- Strict adherence to safety procedures and regulations
- Possession of a current State-issued Class A or B driver's license
- Knowledge and compliance with DOT rules and regulations
- MVR record must meet company and DOT standards
- Familiarity with securing heavy and/or oversized loads
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 12 months of relevant driving experience in the construction industry
- Strong commitment to jobsite safety
- Proficient operational knowledge of trucks and related equipment including end dump, belly dump, tandem, flow boy, or super dump trucks
- Experienced with off-highway driving on construction sites
- Valid State-issued Class A or B driver's license
- Knowledge of and adherence to DOT rules and regulations
- Ability to secure heavy and/or oversized loads
- Ability to meet company and DOT standards for MVR record
- Legal authorization to work for any employer in the United States
Job Duties
- Perform daily equipment maintenance and inspections
- Run mixer trucks and quad-axle dump trucks as required
- Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Participate as a vital team member contributing to the company's success
- Attend daily safety meetings
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Work variable hours adjusting to project needs including days, nights, and weekends
- Work under adverse weather conditions including hot and cold temperatures
- Perform other duties as assigned
