Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • No prior experience required as on-the-job training is provided
  • Ability to obtain Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) if required by contract
  • Capability to safely operate shuttle vehicles
  • Ability to assist passengers and handle luggage
  • Willingness to maintain cleanliness and disinfect vehicles
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
  • One year of prior work experience as a passenger shuttle driver preferred
  • Ability to operate specialized equipment for passengers with special needs
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to adhere to safety standards and procedures
  • Valid driver’s license with CDL may be required depending on contract
  • Ability to perform basic maintenance and inspection duties

Job Duties

  • Transport passengers to and from assigned locations
  • Load and unload passengers safely
  • Operate specialized equipment for unloading passengers with special needs like wheelchair lifts and tie-downs
  • Assist passengers with luggage as needed
  • Inspect vehicles regularly for unsafe conditions or maintenance issues
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of shuttle vehicles
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond courteously to guest inquiries
  • Maintain and enforce bus evacuation plans and coordinate evacuation activities if necessary
  • Report any incidents or claims to management promptly
  • Refuel and maintain fuel use logs for shuttle equipment
  • Disinfect and clean the shuttle after each use
  • Conduct pre-inspection and post-inspection of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with Department of Transportation standards
