Job Requirements
- Valid CDL Class B license with Passenger (P) endorsement
- minimum one year professional driving experience
- must be 21 years or older
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- clean driving record
- pass background check and DOT drug test
- physical ability to drive for extended periods, occasionally bend, walk, stand, climb steps, and lift up to 25 lbs
- willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- comply with all federal, state, and company regulations
Job Qualifications
- Be 21 years or older
- possess a valid CDL Class B license with Passenger (P) endorsement
- have a minimum of one year professional driving experience preferably in transit, school bus, or charter environments
- demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills
- be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- maintain a clean driving record
- pass all background and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements including drug tests and physical examinations
- comply with DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibiting the use of Schedule I drugs including cannabis
Job Duties
- Operate charter vehicles safely and professionally according to federal, state, and company regulations
- provide exceptional passenger care to groups, athletic teams, and event participants ensuring courtesy and comfort
- perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical or safety issues immediately
- maintain clear communication with dispatch and supervision using radio and TransLoc for status, location, and updates
- accurately complete and submit trip sheets, passenger counts, and time logs
- assist with staging, loading, and coordination during large university events and charter trips
- follow all company and client policies including uniform standards and customer service protocols
- perform other duties as required
