Job Requirements

  • Valid CDL Class B license with Passenger (P) endorsement
  • minimum one year professional driving experience
  • must be 21 years or older
  • strong communication and customer service skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • clean driving record
  • pass background check and DOT drug test
  • physical ability to drive for extended periods, occasionally bend, walk, stand, climb steps, and lift up to 25 lbs
  • willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • comply with all federal, state, and company regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Be 21 years or older
  • possess a valid CDL Class B license with Passenger (P) endorsement
  • have a minimum of one year professional driving experience preferably in transit, school bus, or charter environments
  • demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills
  • be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • maintain a clean driving record
  • pass all background and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements including drug tests and physical examinations
  • comply with DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibiting the use of Schedule I drugs including cannabis

Job Duties

  • Operate charter vehicles safely and professionally according to federal, state, and company regulations
  • provide exceptional passenger care to groups, athletic teams, and event participants ensuring courtesy and comfort
  • perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical or safety issues immediately
  • maintain clear communication with dispatch and supervision using radio and TransLoc for status, location, and updates
  • accurately complete and submit trip sheets, passenger counts, and time logs
  • assist with staging, loading, and coordination during large university events and charter trips
  • follow all company and client policies including uniform standards and customer service protocols
  • perform other duties as required
