Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • ability to pass drug test and background verifications
  • must hold required Commercial Driver’s License appropriate for weight of vehicle to be operated
  • must hold current, active DOT medical card
  • must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state DOT regulations
  • minimum of 1 year of CDL Class A driving experience in prior 3 years

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • must hold required Commercial Driver's License appropriate for the vehicle
  • current, active DOT medical card
  • minimum of 1 year CDL Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
  • ability to follow safety procedures and regulations
  • good communication skills
  • ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
  • strong customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • drive flatbed trucks and curtain-side trailers to deliver products efficiently and accurately to customers
  • obey all state and federal transportation laws and DOT requirements
  • perform daily pre and post trip inspections of truck and trailer
  • secure cargo safely using straps, blocks, chains, binders, or covers
  • assist with loading and unloading goods using specialized equipment
  • maintain signed invoices and delivery documentation
  • communicate effectively with customers and branch personnel
  • attend safety meetings and perform routine truck maintenance
  • work in warehouse as needed
