Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License Class A
- Minimum 1 year CDL Class A driving experience in prior 3 years
- Must hold current, active DOT medical card
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass drug test and background verifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and state DOT regulations
- Physically able to perform job duties including lifting up to 40 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A
- Minimum 1 year CDL Class A driving experience within last 3 years
- Active DOT medical card
- Knowledge of transportation laws and safety regulations
- Proficiency with electronic log programs and GPS
- Ability to use forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Job Duties
- Drive flatbed trucks and curtain-side trailers safely and efficiently
- Observe all safety procedures and DOT requirements
- Maneuver truck and trailer for loading and unloading
- Load and unload goods using specialized equipment
- Maintain bills of lading and delivery paperwork
- Conduct daily pre and post trip inspections
- Secure materials properly for transit
- Maintain electronic logbooks and trip reports
- Communicate professionally with customers and branch
- Attend safety meetings
- Occasionally assist in warehouse operations
