Job Requirements
- minimum age 21
- maintain status as an FMCSA-qualified driver
- no DWI, DUI, or felony convictions
- no suspended or revoked driver licenses or permits
- documented proof of good driving record
- successful passing of DOT physical and drug screen
- ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays
- ability to lift 25-75 lbs occasionally
- ability to work up to 70 hours per week according to DOT regulations
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- two years and 100,000 miles of driving experience
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently
- proficiency in DOT, local, state, and federal laws
- excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, unsupervised environment
Job Duties
- drive company vehicles to deliver products to retail stores
- perform preventive maintenance on transportation equipment
- maintain security, condition, and documentation of cargo
- monitor refrigerated commodities and ensure proper temperature settings
- unload deliveries at store locations
- adhere to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- complete all required transportation documents
