Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 21 years old
- valid driver’s license (CDL A or B with P endorsement preferred but not required)
- current and valid DOT required documentation including Hawaii Driver History Record and PUC physical examination and medical clearance card
- knowledge of local streets and hotel locations
- ability to read, speak and understand English
- ability to communicate clearly with DOT examiners
- ability to perform vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
- ability to assist passengers with special needs
- willingness to comply with company policies and safety regulations
- ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods
- ability to exert physical force up to 50 pounds occasionally
- reliable attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21 years old
- knowledge of local streets and hotel locations
- able to read, speak and understand English
- ability to perform simple math functions such as counting, adding and subtracting
- expertise in dealing with people and complex situations
- compliance with company substance abuse policy and DOT controlled substances and alcohol use regulations
- ability to provide clear announcements and narrations
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work under deadlines and pressure
- ability to work independently and accept accountability
- understanding of company mission, values and safety programs
Job Duties
- Obtain appropriate documents to meet DOT regulations and ensure documents remain current to maintain driver's eligibility
- perform duties of a driver with professionalism and courteous manner
- greet customers with aloha and provide exceptional customer service
- conduct daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and complete driver’s inspection reports
- assist passengers needing special assistance and secure wheelchairs
- pick up and drop off passengers in an orderly and efficient manner
- refuel and clean company vehicles as required
