Job Requirements

  • Must hold a commercial driver's license Class A or chauffeur's license appropriate for vehicle weight
  • Must pass background and drug testing per federal and state department of transportation regulations
  • Must pass a DOT physical examination
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to travel frequently
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods in truck cab
  • CDL drivers may need to be clean shaven as required by some customers
  • Must pass a 10 panel drug screen as this is a safety sensitive position

  • Ability to remain focused in a busy environment
  • Must be at least 21 years old

Job Duties

  • Operate vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws
  • Transport loads safely and in a timely manner over required routes obeying traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas following loading crew signals
  • Assist with loading and unloading goods using specialized equipment when necessary
  • Maintain signed invoices, bills of lading and other required paperwork and deliver documentation to appropriate personnel
  • Perform routine service checks on trucks including oil, water, gasoline and air and report maintenance issues
  • Arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
