Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Class A CDL
- HAZMAT endorsement or ability to obtain within 60 days
- Successful completion of Airgas background and motor vehicle check
- DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers
- Ability to routinely lift 25 to 75 lbs, occasionally over 100 lbs
- Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures
- Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace
- Adherence to safety regulations and policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift experience
- Touch freight delivery experience
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Proficient in English language
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Attention to detail
Job Duties
- Operate Class A or B Hazmat vehicles transporting gas cylinders
- Maintain accurate load manifests and documentation
- Foster strong customer relationships and provide cost and delivery information
- Monitor and adjust cylinder levels to prevent emergencies
- Solve customer inquiries using analytical problem-solving skills
- Safely load, unload, deliver, and retrieve cylinders and hard goods
- Communicate effectively in English and adhere to safety regulations
