Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid Class A California Commercial Driver's License with endorsements
  • current medical certification and motor vehicle report
  • minimum risk management and insurance requirements met
  • at least 2 years of truck/trailer driving experience
  • ability to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • valid Class A California Commercial Driver's License with required endorsements
  • current Med Cert and MVR submitted with employment application
  • must meet minimum risk management and insurance requirements
  • 2+ years of experience driving truck/trailer combinations required
  • comfortable with shift work, weekends, or overtime as needed

Job Duties

  • Safely operate a tractor and trailer to load, transport, and deliver feed and agricultural products
  • pick up loads at origin and deliver them accurately and safely to destination sites
  • load trailers in compliance with company procedures and DOT regulations
  • unload products at customer locations ensuring correct placement and securing delivery confirmation signatures
  • communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and fellow employees
  • maintain on-board computer systems for inputting delivery and route data
  • perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections including completing Driver's Vehicle Condition Reports
  • keep accurate and up-to-date daily Hours of Service logs in compliance with state and federal regulations
