Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- one year or more commercial driving experience
- valid CDL A with doubles endorsement
- must be 21 years of age or older
- meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- clean motor vehicle report for past three years
- ability to work 3rd shift schedule, Sunday through Thursday
- pass pre-employment drug test
- pass road test
- valid current DOT health card or able to secure new DOT health card
- ability to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move freight weighing 60 to 90 pounds

Job Duties
- perform all required safety checks including pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor, truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
- report all safety issues and repairs required
- follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines
- inspect trailers for properly loaded and secured freight
- ensure all required route paperwork is with tractor trailer load and available upon dispatch
- drive and deliver trailers according to predetermined route schedule
- perform hook and unhook procedures per safety guidelines
- park and store tractor trailers in designated areas
- ensure all equipment and freight are locked and secured
- collect and secure damaged goods and customer returns
- unload equipment, materials and remove trash from trailers
- complete daily record of hours of service and enter in log
- perform general housekeeping duties in tractor and loading dock area
- perform other related duties as assigned
