Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid NYS Class A CDL license
- Ability to frequently lift 50+ pounds
- Pass DOT drug test
- Pass DMV and background check
- Pass pre-employment physical
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as required
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 250 pounds regularly
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and communicate effectively in English
- Willingness to adhere to all company safety policies and regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid NYS Class A CDL license
- Ability to frequently lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
- Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, rates, and percentages
- Ability to apply common sense and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using assigned company hardware and software
- Completion of applicable OSHA training certifications
Job Duties
- Deliver products to assigned stops in a safe, courteous, and efficient manner
- Pick product, build pallets, and load trucks in the warehouse when not on delivery routes
- Adhere to all company safety policies, productivity requests, and standard operating procedures
- Maintain accurate and neat invoices, cash and check accounting, and vehicle condition reports
- Work collaboratively with salesmen and merchandisers to meet or exceed customer expectations
- Follow all regulatory compliance including DOT, OSHA, and NYS motor vehicle laws
- Participate in training, development, and control activities as assigned by management
