Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- meet all state licensing and certification requirements
- pass post offer drug test
- pass road test
- have valid current DOT health card
- able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move product cases
- clean motor vehicle report
- high school diploma or GED
- six months commercial driving experience
- valid CDL A license

- ability to lift and move heavy product cases
- preferred experience in foodservice distribution
- experience with onboard computer and electronic log systems
- familiarity with handheld point of delivery scanning systems
Job Duties
- Attend and complete entry level driver trainee program
- ride with and assist driver trainer on deliveries
- perform safety checks including pre and post trip inspections
- follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines
- inspect and verify loaded freight and customer invoices
- drive and deliver customer orders according to schedule
- unload products and verify delivery with customer
- collect payments when required
- secure tractor, trailer, and freight at all times
- unload damaged goods and returns and complete paperwork
- complete daily hours of service records
- maintain cleanliness of tractor and loading dock
- perform other assigned duties
