Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid CDL A license
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Meet state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for the past three years
- Successful completion of post offer drug test
- Pass road test
- Attain or maintain a current DOT Health Card
- Ability to lift and maneuver freight weighing 60 to 90 pounds using two-wheeler, lift gate, or other equipment
- Good standing for internal candidates with at least one year of service
- Entry level external candidates with 0-6 months CDL experience
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for past three years

- Pass road test
- Attain or have valid current DOT Health Card
- Able to hand-lift and use equipment to move product cases typically ranging from 60 to 90 pounds
- Internal PFG candidates must have 1 year of service in good standing
- External entry level hires may have 0-6 months CDL experience
Job Duties
- Attend and successfully complete PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program
- Ride with and assist driver trainer in executing deliveries
- Perform all required safety checks including pre/post trip inspections
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight and complete related paperwork
- Drive to and deliver customer orders according to route schedule
- Unload products and verify deliveries with customers
- Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are locked and secured
- Unload damaged goods and returns, complete necessary paperwork
- Complete daily records of hours of service
- Perform general housekeeping duties and secure equipment at shift end
- Perform other related duties as assigned
