Job Requirements
- 12 months verifiable Class B CDL driving and delivery experience within the last 3 years excluding bus or passenger driving
- valid DOT medical card
- acceptable motor vehicle record and accident history
- good work history
- ability to unload freight using pallet jack
- availability to work Monday to Friday with occasional overnight trips
- willingness to comply with company safety policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- valid Class B CDL license
- valid DOT medical card
- minimum 1 year verifiable Class B driving experience within the past 3 years
- good motor vehicle record
- demonstrated ability to safely operate box trucks
- experience in freight unloading using pallet jacks preferred
- prior Class A CDL and OTR driving experience is a plus
- strong work ethic and reliability
Job Duties
- drive local routes delivering dry goods to grocery stores
- perform unloading of freight at delivery locations using an electric pallet jack
- adhere to scheduled start and end times between 6 AM to 8 PM Monday to Friday
- ensure timely delivery of goods with accuracy and safety
- operate an automatic 26-foot box truck
- participate in one overnight delivery trip monthly with hotel accommodations provided
- maintain proper vehicle and safety standards during all driving and unloading activities
