Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license in state of residence
- 3+ years of route delivery driving experience
- ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly
- physical endurance for frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, and reaching
- proficient in spoken and written English
- able to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
- clear DOT physical, drug screen, physical/lifting assessment, criminal background check, and motor vehicle record check
- clean driving record with minimal accidents or tickets in past 3 years and no DUIs in past 5 years
Job Qualifications
- At least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license
- 3+ years of route delivery driving experience with box trucks
- hands-on physical ability to load trucks and handle heavy loads
- proficient English communication skills
- comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures and all outdoor weather conditions
- able to perform frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, and reaching
- thrives in dynamic, fast-paced nighttime environments
- clean driving record with minimal accidents or tickets and no DUIs in the last 5 years
Job Duties
- Ensure fresh food products are delivered accurately and on schedule to convenience stores along an assigned route
- utilize written and GPS directions to efficiently locate stores and navigate routes
- operate electronic tablets to record delivered quantities and complete daily store check-ins
- collect empty trays from stores during deliveries
- participate in training and safety sessions
- apply proper truck set points, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and document issues
- maintain truck cleanliness and report major issues
- load and unload trucks, verify order counts, and complete paperwork while working in warehouse temperatures
- provide professional and courteous customer service
- safely operate and maintain a 24-28 foot straight box truck
- complete and submit DOT logs and required paperwork accurately and timely
