Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid CDL-B license
- Minimum of 12 months commercial driving experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Clean motor vehicle report for the past 3 years
- Ability to pass drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Valid current DOT health card or ability to obtain one
- Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment for freight handling
- Meet all applicable state licensing and certification requirements
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Perform pre and post-trip safety inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- Perform count check of items and verify customer invoices
- Complete all required paperwork related to freight accurately
- Drive to and deliver orders according to predetermined route schedules
- Unload products and transport items to designated customer storage areas
- Verify delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
- Collect payments where necessary
- Secure tractor, trailer, and freight properly
- Complete daily hours of service logs in accordance with Federal and state requirements
- Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor and loading dock areas
- Report safety issues and repairs as needed
- Load customer returns and damaged goods onto trailer
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers
- Perform other related duties as assigned
