Job Requirements

  • Valid CDL-A license
  • 2 years of OTR experience
  • At least 1 year of open deck experience
  • Must own your own truck and trailer

Job Qualifications

  • Valid CDL-A license
  • Minimum 2 years of over-the-road (OTR) trucking experience
  • At least 1 year of open deck trucking experience
  • Proven ability to operate and maintain a truck and trailer
  • Strong business management and communication skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements

Job Duties

  • Operate own truck and trailer to transport freight
  • Manage business independently including route planning and client relations
  • Secure freight loads either through company agents or self-sourced
  • Maintain truck and trailer in excellent working condition
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and federal trucking laws
  • Communicate effectively with agents and dispatch team
  • Provide excellent customer service to maintain relationships and secure ongoing freight opportunities
