Job Requirements
- 21 plus years of age
- License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of active CDL-A driving experience
- Minimum 1 year of food or beverage delivery experience
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Must submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Ability to handle freight weighing an average of 40-60 pounds with occasional lifts up to 100 pounds
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as required
- Preferred 6 months of hand cart or hand truck experience
- Preferred 6 months of food and beverage experience
- Preferred 2 years of consistent work history
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
- Minimum of 1 year of active CDL-A driving experience
- At least 1 year of previous food or beverage delivery experience
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Physical ability to lift, push, or move products weighing 40-60 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds repeatedly
Job Duties
- Operate tractor-trailer safely and efficiently on local delivery routes
- Manually unload and deliver products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships through professional and friendly service
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during transportation and delivery
- Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch regarding delivery issues
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any discrepancies or vehicle issues
