Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Physical ability to lift, push, or move products weighing 40 to 60 pounds on average and up to 100 pounds
- Flexibility to work overtime, including Saturdays and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English effectively
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Physical ability to lift, push, or move freight weighing up to 100 pounds
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
- One year of customer delivery experience preferred
- Experience with hand cart/hand truck operations preferred
- Food and beverage industry experience preferred
- Two years of consistent work history preferred
Job Duties
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer on local delivery routes
- Manually unload and deliver various products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- Build positive relationships with customers and understand their specific operational needs
- Adhere to federal and company safety regulations and maintain a clean driving record
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Manage delivery paperwork accurately and timely
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve delivery issues
