Job Requirements
- Must have a valid Class A driver’s license
- Minimum of 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- Must be 21 years or older
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean clearinghouse results required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot platform twice during orientation
- Preferred 1-year truck driving experience but not necessary
- System Transport does not allow pets
- Drivers must adhere to guest rider policy allowing riders aged 7 and up after 90 days of safe driving
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A driver’s license (CDL-A)
- Minimum of 4 months driving experience
- Safe driving record
- Ability to physically handle flatbed duties including lifting tarps
- Familiarity with regional flatbed routes
- Strong communication skills
- Clean background and drug test
Job Duties
- Operate flatbed trucks on regional routes
- Secure and tarp loads safely
- Comply with all DOT safety and regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Manage time to meet delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate logs and records
