Job Requirements
- Must meet all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL with Tank Endorsement from state of residence
- Hazmat Endorsement strongly preferred
- Valid Passport preferred Canada deliveries available
- 12 months verifiable tractor/trailer experience under a DOT-certified carrier
- No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 12 months
- No preventable DOT recordable crashes within the last 3 years
- No major traffic violations within stated lookback periods including reckless driving last 5 years
- DWI/DUI last 5 years
- Hit and run/leaving the scene of an accident last 5 years
- Excessive speeding 15 plus mph over posted limit last 3 years
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with Tank Endorsement from state of residence
- Hazmat Endorsement strongly preferred
- 12 months verifiable tractor/trailer experience under a DOT-certified carrier
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
- No preventable DOT recordable crashes within the last 3 years
- Ability to comply with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Valid Passport preferred for Canada deliveries
Job Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to transport food-grade liquid cargo
- Comply with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations during all operations
- Handle and transport hazmat materials, primarily food-grade lactic acid, following safety protocols
- Preload and unload trailers or hook to preloaded trailers at the Blair terminal
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, conduct, and delivery schedules
