Job Requirements
- Class A commercial driver's license with HazMat and Tanker endorsements
- three years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to lift and carry minimum 50 lbs
- ability to back and parallel park large vehicles in tight industrial settings
- willingness to travel up to five days per week and be home on holidays
- no immigration sponsorship provided
- knowledge of hazardous material transport compliance and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HazMat and Tanker endorsements and no restrictions
- minimum three years of commercial driving experience compliant with FMCSA and DOT regulations
- ability to operate bulk tanker vehicles safely
- knowledge of hazardous materials transportation regulations
- strong communication skills
- ability to perform pre-trip vehicle inspections
- physical ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
- willingness to travel up to five days per week
- preferred three years of bulk tanker experience especially with hazardous chemicals
Job Duties
- Deliver bulk and tanker chemical products
- operate vehicles including delivery trucks, tank trucks, and over-the-road trucks safely
- maintain driver's hours of service using Samsara or paper logbooks
- perform daily and periodic mechanical and safety inspections of trucks and equipment
- comply with DOT regulations and homeland security guidelines for hazardous materials transport
- communicate regularly with sales and supervisors about field issues
- follow verified delivery procedures and wear appropriate safety gear during operations
- maintain safety awareness and improve driving skills
- occasionally perform overnight deliveries
