Job Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 9 months of driving experience
- No DWIs in the past 7 years
- No more than 3 moving violations in past 3 years
- Pass a pre-employment DOT physical, drug screen, and human performance evaluation
- No preventable DOT reportable accidents in past 3 years
- No driving routes into NYC or Canada
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum of 9 months practical driving experience
- Proven track record of safe driving with no preventable DOT reportable accidents in the past three years
- Clean legal record with no DWIs in the past seven years
- No more than three moving violations in the past three years
- Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug screen, and human performance evaluation
- Familiarity with handling dry van truckload freight
- Strong communication and time management skills
Job Duties
- Operate commercial tractor-trailer vehicles safely on designated over-the-road and regional routes
- Ensure compliance with all DOT, federal, state, and company regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee equipment safety and operational readiness
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork in accordance with DOT requirements
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes
- Handle freight with care, utilizing 100% no-touch freight and drop-and-hook procedures
- Participate in safety programs and courses to maintain high safety standards
