Job Requirements

  • Valid CDL-A license
  • Minimum 9 months of driving experience
  • No DWIs in the past 7 years
  • No more than 3 moving violations in past 3 years
  • Pass a pre-employment DOT physical, drug screen, and human performance evaluation
  • No preventable DOT reportable accidents in past 3 years
  • No driving routes into NYC or Canada

Job Qualifications

  • Valid CDL-A license
  • Minimum of 9 months practical driving experience
  • Proven track record of safe driving with no preventable DOT reportable accidents in the past three years
  • Clean legal record with no DWIs in the past seven years
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years
  • Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug screen, and human performance evaluation
  • Familiarity with handling dry van truckload freight
  • Strong communication and time management skills

Job Duties

  • Operate commercial tractor-trailer vehicles safely on designated over-the-road and regional routes
  • Ensure compliance with all DOT, federal, state, and company regulations
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee equipment safety and operational readiness
  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork in accordance with DOT requirements
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes
  • Handle freight with care, utilizing 100% no-touch freight and drop-and-hook procedures
  • Participate in safety programs and courses to maintain high safety standards
