Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year commercial driving experience
- valid CDL A license
- comply with DOT medical and drug testing standards
- reside within 80 miles of Claremont, North Carolina
- ability to work occasional weekends and holidays
- pass background check and motor vehicle record verification
- strong commitment to safety and professionalism
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 21 years of age
- valid CDL A license
- minimum one year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- knowledge of DOT testing and physical requirements
- registered with FMCSA Clearinghouse
- clean driving record with no at-fault DOT reportable accidents in last 3 years
- no DUIs in last 5 years
- no careless or reckless convictions in last 3 years
- able to pass pre-employment drug test, MVR, and background check
Job Duties
- deliver freight safely and on time
- operate well-maintained Freightliner Cascadia tractors with automatic transmissions
- follow DOT regulations and company policies
- complete no-touch drop and hook shipments efficiently
- maintain communication with dispatch and logistics teams
- perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- manage documentation and logs as required
