Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have a valid Class A CDL
  • At least 6 months experience driving under DOT regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record
  • At least 6 months of DOT-regulated driving experience within the past year
  • Hands-on experience with manual transmissions preferred but not required
  • Experience operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or similar equipment is a plus
  • Proven ability in freight handling including load and unload procedures and route driving
  • Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols for tractor-trailers
  • Delivery driver experience involving freight movement across various terrains and conditions

Job Duties

  • Safely operate tractor-trailers across designated routes with a focus on timely deliveries
  • Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
  • Manage route driving responsibilities while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws
  • Handle various types of freight including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, or tankers depending on assignment
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and vehicle maintenance records
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
