Job Requirements
- Must have your own truck
- Must be Samsara ELD compatible
- Must have apportioned plates
- Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must hold a CDL A license
- Must have at least 1 year intermodal, port, or rail yard driving experience
- Must be at least 23 years of age
- Must comply with zero-tolerance substance abuse policy
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 23 years of age
- Must hold a valid CDL A license
- Minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- At least 1 year of intermodal, port, or rail yard driving experience
- Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required
- Familiarity with Samsara ELD systems
- Drivers preferred within 50 miles of Joliet, IL
- Strong commitment to safety with zero-tolerance for substance abuse
Job Duties
- Haul intermodal containers originating from rail yards within a 250-mile radius around Joliet, IL
- Provide short haul drayage within city limits and longer drays to customer facilities
- Operate under Maritime Delivery Services, Inc. authority ensuring compliance with company policies
- Maintain Samsara ELD compatibility and ensure apportion plates are current
- Participate in fuel discount programs and utilize provided trailers and chassis
- Uphold safety standards and adhere to zero-tolerance substance abuse policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely delivery
