Job Requirements

  • Must have valid CDL A license
  • three years of verifiable CDL driving experience
  • must be at least 24 years old
  • acceptable motor vehicle record and criminal background check
  • must live within 30 miles of Pawtucket, RI
  • ability to work full time and flexible schedule
  • willingness to comply with safety and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • Must have valid CDL A license
  • minimum three years of verifiable CDL driving experience
  • strong knowledge of local and regional routes
  • ability to comply with DOT and company safety standards
  • basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and inspection
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • ability to use electronic logging devices and navigation technologies

Job Duties

  • Drive dry van tractor-trailer combination locally
  • follow scheduled routes through Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Upstate New York
  • perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • comply with all DOT and company safety regulations
  • maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
  • provide courteous customer service and communication
  • assist minimally with loading and unloading duties
