Job Requirements
- 21 plus years of age
- Must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Commercial Vehicle Drivers must have the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
- Ability to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as business needs require
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to communicate with the public, understand highway signs, and complete reports
- Physical capacity to handle freight weighing 40-60 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business requires
- Preferred 1 year customer delivery experience
- Preferred 6 months hand cart or hand truck experience
- Preferred 6 months Food and Beverage industry experience
- Preferred 2 years of consistent work history
Job Duties
- Operate tractor-trailer safely and efficiently
- Manually unload and deliver various products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- Follow assigned route schedules to meet delivery timelines
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through friendly and professional interactions
- Understand customer operations and tailor delivery service to meet specific needs and expectations
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to deliveries and vehicle operation
