Job Requirements

  • Must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • ability to lift, push, or move products weighing up to 100 pounds repeatedly
  • flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
  • must be currently authorized to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • 21 plus years of age
  • valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently for customer interaction and traffic navigation
  • experience in customer delivery preferred
  • knowledge of hand cart or hand truck operation preferred
  • food and beverage industry experience preferred
  • consistent work history preferred

Job Duties

  • Run daily routes with frequent stops as designated by the Transportation Department Manager
  • load packages onto hand trucks and unload products at each stop
  • pick up loaded trucks from nightly delivery at assigned loading docks and return empty trucks to assigned lots
  • assist with loading trucks and palletizing products as needed
  • perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT regulations
  • handle company equipment properly and follow driver safety rules
  • communicate delivery discrepancies and customer complaints professionally
