Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Possess a valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to read and speak English adequately
- Capable of lifting, pushing, or moving freight weighing 40 to 60 pounds, with frequent lifts of up to 100 pounds
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to communicate with the general public and understand highway traffic signs
- Experience with customer delivery preferred
- Experience with hand cart or hand truck operation preferred
- Experience in food and beverage delivery preferred
- Consistent work history preferred
- Ability to handle physical freight requirements
Job Duties
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer to deliver foodservice products to assigned customer locations
- Manually unload and deliver various products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- Build relationships with customers through positive and friendly interaction
- Familiarize with customer operations to meet specific delivery needs and expectations
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean driving record
- Handle freight weighing between 40 to 60 pounds, lifting up to 100 pounds as necessary
- Flexible availability including potential overtime, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs
