Job Requirements
- Must submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Must have valid Class A Commercial Driver License
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to lift and move heavy freight frequently
- Flexibility to work overtime weekends and holidays as required
- Ability to follow DOT and company safety regulations
- Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License with clean driving record
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand traffic signs
- Ability to lift, push, or move product weighing up to 100 pounds repeatedly
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Preferred 1 year customer delivery experience
- Preferred 6 months hand cart or hand truck experience
- Preferred 6 months food and beverage industry experience
- Preferred 2 years consistent work history
Job Duties
- Run routes efficiently meeting or exceeding designated route times
- Unload product from trailer by hand or using a hand cart and place in designated customer storage areas
- Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures
- Contact management for authorization when discrepancies are on invoices
- Communicate all errors and returns
- Handle customer complaints professionally
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations
