Job Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- must submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen
- valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently
- physical ability to handle freight weighing up to 100 pounds
- flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
Job Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently to communicate and understand highway traffic signs
- customer delivery experience preferred
- hand cart or hand truck experience preferred
- food and beverage industry experience preferred
- consistent work history preferred
Job Duties
- Safely operate a Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) tractor-trailer on assigned routes
- Manually unload and deliver various products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- Build customer relationships through a positive and friendly attitude
- Become familiar with customer operations to meet delivery needs and expectations
- Comply with all safety standards and regulatory requirements while driving and delivering
- Communicate effectively with customers and Sysco personnel
- Lift, push, or move freight weighing between 40 and 100 pounds as required
